Immediately, I began to do basic research and quickly learned that the best way to see Iceland is by car. I kept coming across phrases like “the ultimate road trip of your life,” and “you’ll want to stop every five minutes,” which are pretty bold statements that make you take pause. It did not take long for me to come to my decision—I was going to do this road trip, known as The Ring Road because it’s literally circles the entire island. That was settled.

Budapest was the last major stop on our road trip before we returned to Poland. The city is divided into two parts Buda and Pest. When my friends and I were planning our Euro road trip we had to choose between spending more time in Prague or Budapest. I recently came back from my European excursion and I’m eager to share with you all details of my itinerary, but before that you need to know why a road trip throughout Europe will give you life! 

As I unloaded my bags from my weeklong England & Iceland excursion, I chuckled at the mail that had arrived for me in my absence. On my pillow laid Essence Magazine’s June 2016 travel edition.
