Immediately, I began to do basic research and quickly learned that the best way to see Iceland is by car. I kept coming across phrases like “the ultimate road trip of your life,” and “you’ll want to stop every five minutes,” which are pretty bold statements that make you take pause. It did not take long for me to come to my decision—I was going to do this road trip, known as The Ring Road because it’s literally circles the entire island. That was settled.
Budapest was the last major stop on our road trip before we returned to Poland. The city is divided into two parts Buda and Pest. They are separated by the Danube river. When my friends and I were planning our Euro road trip we had to choose between spending more time in Prague or Budapest. I reached out to my FB friends to get their opinion and it was spilt relatively evenly. I ultimately chose to spend more time in Budapest because it seemed like it had way more to do. Continuing on my Euro road trip series, Jacek, Jessica, and I drove 2.5 hours from the coast of Poland to Berlin. We spent 3 days there, which brought us to the halfway mark of our itinerary. As soon as we arrived in Berlin, I received major NYC vibes from its evident diversity (relative to Poland) and liveliness.
